Our March theme was infrastructure planning.
We featured an interesting range of projects ranging from some thought provoking research into the challenges and opportunities around the transition to renewable energy in South Africa, through to a study on the translation of Local Area Energy Plans into tangible decarbonisation actions. Another research project looks at how can the Development Consent Order (DCO) process be strengthened to better support the delivery of Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects, while the final project we highlighted looks at what happens when wind farms reach the end of their operational or consent life.
