Volunteers have long been at the heart of the Planning Aid service. At Planning Aid England we are fortunate enough to have the support of over 300 RTPI members, 200 of whom are Chartered planners. We rely on our volunteers to deliver our key services of casework, e-mail advice, and other support projects and to help us identify local opportunities to support community engagement in the planning process.
Some of our volunteers are at the start of their volunteer journey whilst others have been volunteering with us for years (decades in some cases!). This section will build into a series of reflections and recollections from volunteers past and present.
