Delivering Pledges on Climate Action: The ‘How to’ Guide for Planners
The Wales Planning Conference is Wales’ primary annual Conference to discuss all issues related to planning. The 2023 Conference, to be held in Cardiff on 22 June will take forward the understanding of how planning can mitigate against climate change and build resilience for climate change impacts.
The need to take climate action is understood, however building knowledge on how planning can - and needs to - take action and how it can support changing behaviours across society and professionals needs to be better understood. The Conference will discuss the issues and share good practice to equip planners with the knowledge and skills to take climate action and how to implement the various pledges which have been made.
