The RTPI South East Awards for Planning Excellence 2023 showcase and celebrate the best plans, people and projects.
Congratulations to all the entries who were shortlisted in the RTPI South East Awards for Planning Excellence 2023. The winners were announced on 16 June at Guildhall Winchester.
RTPI South East Award for Planning Excellence - Best in 
Region
Milton Keynes City Council
The competition for the overall winner was especially intense, but the panel felt that it was a delight to be able to recognise the exceptional work undertaken by the City Council especially in the innovative approaches taken through the establishment of the planning academy, customer relationship management, plan making and leadership.

Best Project - Bayside, Worthing entered by ECE Planning Limited, Worthing Borough Council

And then onto our national celebration
All the South East Regional Awards local winning entries will be put forward for the RTPI Awards for Planning Excellence national awards*. The national shortlist will be announced on 9 October. And the winners will be honoured at a celebration ceremony taking place in London on 21 November 2023.
*All Young Planner of the Year winners will be entered into the national shortlist and will be judged by the national judges.
